  • रेखाओं का अभ्यास (हवा या बालू में लकीर खींचना)
  • चित्र द्वारा अ से अ: स्वर की पहचान।
  • अ से अ: तक लिखना (जोड़े बनाना, खाली जगह भरना, चित्र देखकर पहला अक्षर लिखना, रंग भरना, गोला बनाना आदि।)
  • चित्रों द्वारा क से ज्ञ तक के अक्षरों की पहचान करना।
  • क से ज्ञ तक अक्षरों को नोटबुक पर लिखना सीखना। (जोड़े बनाना, खाली जगह भरना, चित्र देखकर पहला अक्षर लिखना, रंग भरना, गोला बनाना आदि।)
  • छूटे हुए अक्षर लिखना।
  • पहले या बाद में आने वाला अच्छा लिखना।
  • दो अक्षर वाले शब्दों को लिखना व पढ़ना – (नल चल, हल, बल, दल, पल, वन, मन, तन, धन, जल, कल, मत, हट, कर, अब, घर, पर आदि।
